Description

Block and Tackle makes for a nice connecting trail between Brush Creek and Cement Creek. While the uphill on the Brush Creek side has seen quite a bit of moto bike damage the downhill down to the Cement Creek side is good.

From Brush Ck to Cement Ck the first mile up is TERRIBLY eroded by motos. I would have given this only one star... until I got to the last 1/2 mile of pristine singletrack climb and outstanding descent to Cement Ck. Sep 7, 2013

If you're looking for a good mountain bike climb/route, this isn't it. We got some bad intel on this and tried riding it from Cement Creek up to Double Top last weekend. The vast majority of it is impossible (IMHO) to ride, thanks mostly to the motos and the insanely steep pitch of the trail. I consider myself to be in pretty good shape, but this was a total hike-a-bike for us. Brutal. Sep 25, 2013
If riding this from Trail 400, it's a hike-a-bike for a majority of the 1.5 miles... but it's oh so worth it for the descent down into Cement Creek. Just bring a few good stories to tell your riding buddies and the time will pass quickly. Jul 26, 2017
