Description

Steep Shortcut is more of a hiker trail than a mountain bike trail. However, with that being said, if you like riding down staircases, then this short section of trail is for you!

Zigzag downhill as you enjoy 8-12" drops. As it is primarily used by hikers, stay alert.

Taking this trail uphill is just a bad idea, unless you have unreal technical uphill climbing skills or are trying to build those arm muscles by carrying your bike.

Dry near junction with north Whipple. Best with good friends and a good helmet. Good idea to hop off and plan lines around switchbacks 0.1mi
