Description

This trail is 11 miles of nearly everything WI riding has to offer. It blends mostly flowy singletrack through the forest with short sections of serious, yet doable climbs, some short rock gardens, and some deep sandy stuff (The Beach). It has a little of everything that riding the upper Midwest has to offer. You might not find the kitchen sink out here but you'll find the steep Hells Kitchen.

The beauty of this trail is that it is part of a MUCH larger system of trails that includes the Muir Trails, Emma Carlin Trails and the 6 mile Connector - North and Connector - South trails that connect them.

These trails are continuously upgraded by the local volunteers by adding bermed corners, better drainage, and improved routes. The entire system improves every year. There is an active riding scene here including a couple of races per year.

People drive from pretty far away to spend weekend days exploring all that this trail and its neighbors have to offer. Doing so is well worth your consideration.

It's been about 12 years since I rode the Blue Loop. Out of all the trails I've ridden in the state, this is easily one of, in my opinion, the best. 12mi

Typical nasty overgrown trail at Muir. The State should be ashamed how they let this trail get this bad with all the $ they take in from it. 17mi
