Description
To get to this trail, head down the road that goes to the Peaks Hotel, and continue past it. You'll make a couple switchbacks on a road before reaching the intersection of
Meadows Trail and Boomerang Rd. Head right to Boomerang Rd. for a mild downhill on a dirt road, with somewhat technical rocks and roots ranging in stability.
Towards the beginning of the trail,
Kave Trail can be accessed by heading right into the singletrack. This road is a highly used road, so be cautious. Challenge seekers will strive up the road, and are very desperate for the right of way. This trail is convenient for transportation, and if done at a fast rate can access town faster than the gondola can, only on bikes. This trail exits onto the valley floor trail.
At this intersection, going to the riders left will lead you to Lawson Hill, where Galloping Goose Trail is located. Heading straight across the bridge will lead you to a gas station, by the hillside neighborhood. Heading left will lead you back to town.
Also, at this intersection, there is a mini bike park with jumps. Only go in if your experienced. The area is closed due to harmful materials, so don't crash! Enter at your own risk. From the intersection, town is a 3-minute ride away. This road is not very difficult when taken downhill, nor is it long. You don't need any preparation for the trail. However, if taken uphill might require some water. It is steep and loose. Fun trail.
