Description

Parking is at the Waterton Canyon trailhead which is open to the public. I rode this after riding the popular Waterton Canyon trail - just got back to the parking lot and wanted a little more riding. They are decent singletrack trails along the Platte River and the small lakes south of Chatfield Reservoir. There's barely any elevation change.

Trails have some tree cover to keep you cool and is quite nice next to the river. WATCH OUT FOR POISON IVY! It's there, but it can be avoided if you know what you're looking for. (Leaves of three, let it be!)
