Getting forecast...

A brutal uphill to get to the good stuff in Lory.

Description

The uphill is grueling on this trail. There are significant portions where hike-a-bike is considered "the norm". Once you summit behind Arthur's rock though, you can turn around for some technical downhill or hit one of the other great trails in the area.

This trail has changed a lot. It is a viable option uphill, and a blast downhill.

A lot of work has been done on this trail and it is now much more rideable - even uphill.

I tried my darndest to ride up this thing. But you know what they say, if you're not hiking you're not mountain biking.

Only enjoyable if you like hiking your bike a lot. 2.4mi

This climb blows, you cannot bike a majority of the climb and will have to push or carry your bike. That said, it connects you through to timber trail and the downhill is definitely worth the trek! Jul 19, 2015

A fun technical decent. Better to climb timber. Feb 17, 2017
Did this trail after climbing up from the north on Timber and this was a fantastic and technical descent. Don't think I'd ever want to go up it... lol Can also get to it from Millcreek which might be a more enjoyable option. May 15, 2017
