Need to Know

After recent trail repair and building (summer 2019), this trail is best ridden descending, from south to north. Riders doing so may be traveling at a higher rate of speed around blind corners which could be dangerous for a novice ascending rider not familiar with the trail system.

Description

Along with Hobbit 3, this is one of the only trails in the West Mag area that haven't been affected by the large 2012 deforestation/fuels cleanup project.

This short section continues from Hobbit 1, and winds around nicely with a nice flowy descent. It's generally intermediate, though some of the descent can get a bit fast and somewhat loose. For the most part, there's not much to worry about.
