This trail was created with Forest Service permission to "re-route" the original Root Canal trail. The result is a great trail with a combination of naturally challenging trail features and some man-made obstacles for advanced riders.

To access Re-Root from the trailhead at the Peak to Peak Highway and Magnolia Rd, start climbing Aspen Alley Trail #342A and take the left at the fork 0.1 miles in. After a quarter of a mile, the trail crosses Haul Rd and continues for nearly two miles of winding singletrack interspersed with 5-6 technical alternative lines.

Most of the big technical moves are pretty obvious when you come to them, and they all have ride-arounds so you aren't forced into anything you don't want to ride.

This section of trail can be ridden by intermediates, but will get advanced riders grinning ear to ear.
