One of the more fun trails in West Mag with several optional big technical moves.

Mike Ahnemann

Overview

Dogs: Leashed

Description

This trail was created with forest service permission to "re-route" the original Root Canal trail. The result is a great trail with a combination of naturally challenging trail features and some man-made obstacles for advanced riders.

Most of the big technical moves are pretty obvious when you come to them, and they all have ride-arounds so you aren't forced into anything you don't want to ride.

This section of trail can be ridden by intermediates, but will get advanced riders grinning ear to ear.

Snowy, Fallen Trees - For the most part everything is very snowshoe packed. Fun and flowy! Few fallen trees.

Getting forecast...

This trail is no more... It was decimated by heavy equipment during tree removal needed to mitigate forest fires. Circa May 2013. Jun 24, 2013

Joe - I rode the trail and took that picture on Saturday. It's alive and well! (although the scenery has changed a bit). Jun 24, 2013
