I rated this trail as "difficult" due to the rock gardens, but anyone with solid intermediate+ skills should be able to tackle it. While it's not an epic aerobic challenge, there is one short and steep climb (avg grade about 20%) shortly after accessing the trail from Prickly Pear
. There is also a somewhat tall wooden ledge across the trail right at the steepest part of this climb!
A lot of folks ride this trail in the opposite direction which makes this little ledge a fun drop. You'll have to decide for yourself what direction is best. Once past this short/steep climb the trail starts to flow better with some quick downs/ups into little creeks. You can bail by taking this trail back out to the road and the Poverty Creek
trail, or continue the ride by hooking up with Trillium
