A popular local ride and a hidden gem of western Arizona.

John Myers

Watch out for hikers, wildlife and livestock.
There are many different variations to riding this trail system. It also connects to Beale Loop by traveling under the highway. There are some fun flowy sections and this is considered to be our beginner trails.

It's rocky and can be challenging to beginners on the south end and especially if ridden clockwise.

Monolith Gardens trail is an easy to intermediate loop system with some technical climbs and downhills. June 2011 Foothills Rim trail (a technical intermediate) was connected at 3 location to the Monolith trail adding an additional 10.35 miles to the trail system.

The most popular direction to ride the trail is counter-clockwise but is also fun and more challenging riding clockwise. The trail is fast and flowing with plenty of climbing and fast downhills, elevations are approx 3500 - 3900 ft.

Beautiful ride just off the highway but felt like you were out in the middle of nowhere as you never see the road, good for beginners/intermediates. 8.7mi — 1h 00m

The scenery of this ride is absolutely stunning. When you think it cannot get any better you get around a corner and are even more mind blown. 8mi

Are there any areas worth getting drone footage of I live in Kingman but never hit the trails although I do ride alot. I want to take the drone out there and get some shots which points are the best Feb 27, 2016

There are a few drone footage clips out there. I think it is well worth checking out. I'm not familiar enough with the trail to give you locations, but the local bike shops could likely help. I think one even has drone footage on their facebook page. Feb 27, 2016

So I just tackled this trail Clockwise that was no joke but I made it! Mar 28, 2016
