Overview

There are many different variations to riding this trail system. It also connects to Beale Loop by traveling under the highway. There are some fun flowy sections and this is considered to be our beginner trails.

It's rocky and can be challenging to beginners on the south end and especially if ridden clockwise.

Description

Monolith Gardens trail is an easy to intermediate loop system with some technical climbs and downhills. June 2011 Foothills Rim trail (a technical intermediate) was connected at 3 location to the Monolith trail adding an additional 10.35 miles to the trail system.

The most popular direction to ride the trail is counter-clockwise but is also fun and more challenging riding clockwise. The trail is fast and flowing with plenty of climbing and fast downhills, elevations are approx 3500 - 3900 ft.
