This is about at much of a view as you get along this part of the CDT Trail.
The start of trail on the Eastern side is not well formed, but has some nice trails markers. Take GPS in case you can't find them!
The end of the access trail and the forest boundary is set in a pretty meadow with forested hills in the background.
What the this start of this access trail looked like during the summer of 2019.
The shore of Barker Lake is a great place to marvel at the view after a tough ride up.
