The old stone wall from the mining trail is a great feature along this trail. It does make the narrow, technical sections more engaging having the drop-off so close.

This is an exit off the trail to Alvarado Road. It is easy to miss because it looks like a washout and the trail narrows. Watch for the sign. The trail down to the road is Extremely difficult but short if you need to bail after a 1.5 miles or so.
