This is a glimpse at the Chumash Trail in Rocky Peak Park, Simi Valley.
Looking up into the last couple hundred yards before the junction with Rocky Peak Trail. This last stretch offers half a dozen small rocky sections, a couple are deceptively tricky. Good challenge, great fun!

Morning light, looking down on the first mile of the Chumash Trail coming up from Simi Valley.
One of the tougher sections that may require a dismount.
Morning light creeping into the ravine of lower Chumash Trail. One of the best combinations of singletrack + technical climbs + rocky descents in the region. Far less gnarly and consequential than the full DH descents (Grudge, Undertow, and Hummingbird)
Looking up the last rock wall before the junction at Rocky Peak Trail (which you can see in the upper left). One of the hardest sections to clean, and a good challenge coming back down, too.
