Ride video of the dirt half of Lake Natoma Loop (legal dirt on south side of lake). Start point is Nimbus Flat, end point is near Old Folsom.
The typical trail surface - smooth decomposed granite. Most of the trail is good for taking kids along and lets them practice "real" mountain biking.
The view upriver from South Bluff Overlook. At this point you can watch the Sacramento State Aquatic Center practices and competitions as the starting line is usually right below this spot.
