descend to a boardwalk
Very steep descent (or incline if you are going the other way) to a very narrow bridge, which is challenging, if on a bike
Typical for the region. Great XC with lots of loose thick sand and pine needles to keep you on edge.
Riding at Sesquicentennial State Park after a big rain storm, was in great condition.
The rails-to-trails section runs through the Wateree swamp.
Swamp and spanish moss (on road after the main trail ends).
Wateree River is the end of the line (for now).
