Views from the Mineshaft Trail
The view due west.
Note the rusty rock and the crevass above in center. That's an old scoop mine.
Rockpile containing remnant ore from 1800's mining operations. You'll see several hollers with these rockpiles. There are strip and small shaft mines up the mountain from each of these.
Coming down, you get back into the hardwoods with gnar on the singletrack.
