Dense undergrowth through this section requires regular maintenance.

Some turns can not be bermed/insloped because of soil type and invasive plant presence. This is an example of a mostly flat, low turn with a couple of nicks just outside the apex to prevent pooling of water on the surface.
Crossing Golf Course pond outflow creek. Beautiful bridge built by volunteer singletrack stewards and donations from Trail Pittsburgh. Railings are canted out to prevent handlebar overlap. Photo looks towards Riverview Extension Trail.
Eventually the singletrack exits the tree tunnel and proceeds towards a reclaiming meadow. Hillside is not as steep and the sight lines tend to be best from fall-spring.
