This is a fantastic bridge across the Marais Des Cygnes river, I couldn't get it all in one shot.
This is a signalized crossing with caution flashers for bikes and horse riders.

This is a signalized crossing with caution flashers for bikes and horse riders.
They've built fantastic new bridges along these couple of miles, big thanks to the Kanza Rails-Trails Conservancy!
Lots of train activity through here, a great place for train enthusiasts.
End of the line. The trail has signage along the road that shows the official route around this portion of trail.
Google Maps shows this is the end of the trail...not true! There is currently construction on 5 bridges to the East of this location and some of the tread is still soft, but it is totally rideable!
The other end of the incomplete section. This trail crosses an active piece of railroad and if I get an idea of how Kanza Rail-Trail Conservancy plans to complete this, I'll share the info.
