The first of many sections carved out to maintain the grade of the railbed. Some of these are 50' deep!
This bridge is the start of a climb up to the next town...get ready!
This is section of the trail has the most remote feel to it. Several areas to the East are close to the highway or have homes along it and don't feel as isolated as this stretch.
More great views along the trail
I don't exactly recommend riding this trail on a 43 degree day with 30mph winds. LOL!
Some of the bridges still have their old decking and look awesome!
