This is a gorgeous, seldom visited canyon. It is hard to decide whether to pay attention to the perfect singletrack descent or the view.
The wide open expanse of the final leg of trail, Macedo Ranch Staging Area up ahead a few hundred yards.
Mt Diablo - zoom in on the ridge right in the middle and you can see Burma Rd. trail switching back and forth down the ridge - an amazing descent 1400 ft in a little over 2 miles
Wall Point Trail at the top of Emmons Canyon.
Nice East Bay scenery in Spring.
View up Pine Canyon. The ridge at the end is BBQ terrace. Stage Road heads right along the line of trees up the middle. Awesome climbing on the Rocks to the left. (http://www.mountainproject.com/v/pine-canyon/105734096)
Rattlesnakes have the right-of-way on Briones to Mt. Diablo trail.
