Toward the bottom, there are fun rocky descents (technical, but doable for many intermediate riders) amid maples and other deciduous trees. <br> <br> Because some hike-a-bike rocky climbs follow, one wishes the Forest Service would build a connector trail northwest to Forest Road 5389 at this location.
The trail is smooth, but you need solid lungs to crank up the aspen-covered hills.
