Parts of the Lake Border Trail are purpose built (non public) for car access. Roads like this allow park employees to get into hard to reach areas for trail maintenance, emergency access and supervision.
"Main Hiking Trail" is the same as the Lake Border Trail. "Fox Trot Trail" will take you back to the Lake Border Trail. "Day Use Area" is the same as the Beach/Picnic/Snack Bar area.
