The lowermost portion of the Bear Creek Trail includes several small creek crossings.
On the way up, go left to the top of Green Mountain. On the way back also bear left which will take to toward the Lake.

On the way up, go left to the top of Green Mountain. On the way back also bear left which will take to toward the Lake.
Turn right here (!) to go down to the lake and back to the parking lot. You'll come to a road in a minute or two. You'll have some nice views.
Here's the split for the Long Branch loop. I suggest and the map shows right. You can go left since it's a loop. The next turn is onto the Long Branch Connector.l
Flat Creek Loop offers a number of opportunities to get your tires wet.
