Heading to the Seattle area and will have 1 day to get a ride in. Looking for something in the +/- 30 mile range with PNW forest and mountains. I live in CO so looking for something unique to the PNW. Fun technical combined with great flow through the woods ... any suggestions?

Thanks,

Pete

Hey Pete,

If you're looking for a "backcountry" trail, they may still be under snow. I'd recommend taking a look at the featured rides at the bottom of this page (https://www.mtbproject.com/directory/8011643/seattle-and-puget-sound) to see if anything looks like a good option. I'm seeing reports in my Facebook feed that Tiger Mountain is generally running, but has some snow. Further north, Bellingham's Galbraith is a little soft, but running pretty good. Duthie Hill is lots of fun but is inherently small so it can be hard to rack up mileage.

Some rain is forecasted for the whole region this weekend.

Kind Regards,
—Eric Ashley
