As a former Army Ranger infantryman that has been through many cold weather training scenarios I have a very in depth knowledge of surviving the cold and heat, some hacks on how to make it enjoyable or suck less. Just ask the questions and I will give you my best advice or tell you I don't know. I have 2 deployments to Iraq and 2 to Afghanistan (a year each) as well. So, hot or cold I can help you out in the camping department.
As far as mountain biking though I am a newbie.. I am also very capable of giving fitness, and dietary tips

Can you guide me on how to survive better in extreme cold weathers because I am planning a trip toward Alaska.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
