Hi, I'm looking for full suspension carbon 29er, with a 14 inch frame.  I'm 5' 0" tall and 115 lbs, so not very big and could really use the extra travel with some 29 inch tires.  I don't know if any bikes exist this small, but was wondering if someone would know of any or if I can find a company to custom build a 29er frame that small, or will they just laugh in my face?:(

Niner makes small bikes
Also Google mountain bikes for short people
Also some companies make women specific mountain bikes

Hi Sara,

Trek makes a men's Fuel Ex 9.8 bike in a 29er in a 15.5" frame (essentially a men's extra small), but even at 5'2," I'm as short as a person could be and reasonably ride that bike. Everything else they make, especially for women, utilizes their smart sizing and if you are shorter than 5'6," they are stocking bikes with 27.5" wheels. Is there a particular reason that you are after getting a 29er? At 5 feet tall, unfortunately it's going to be very difficult to find a bike brand that makes a geometry with 29er wheels that will work.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
