Do I have to add underlying trails?

Hello there,

I recently rode and added a ride that allowed visitors to the area a great single ride and a taste of the many trails in the area (Gryon-Villars). During my ride, I probably crossed paths/overlapped with at least 6 different trails. I have not ridden all these separate trails in its entirely but it seems like I need to and add them in order to submit my Featured ride. Can I somehow avoid that? I describe in the text how people can get local trail maps to find the other trails in the area.

Thank you,

Maarten Fischer

Hi Maarten,

Great question. Because we define Featured Rides as the best or most popular routes in a given area, we require a few more details to go along with them. One of those details is showing any trail that was used on the ride to its full extent.

That said, we understand that you may not have completely ridden that trail so it's fine if you'd prefer to put any of the underlying trails up for adoption and we can still approve the Featured Ride.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
