After the Ride: Local Favorites

Cafe St. Jorge Cafe St Jorge is my new favorite neighborhood cafe & wifi work-from-home spot! Delicious chia bowl, avocado toast, Portugese egg tarts & stumptown coffee!
Roxie Food Center This quality sandwich joint, hidden in a liquor store, is known for their Dutch Crunch. Their sandwiches are huge and hearty, making it a perfect place to gorge.
PizzaHacker Jeff Krupman's pizza popup now has a brick and mortar space, with lots of room at communal picnic tables and pies topped with freshly stretched mozzarella.
Gialina Pizzeria Atomica is our constant favorite, but we had the Brussels sprout one tonight and holy moly. Also, check this dessert heaven. Most delicious mascarpone!
Papalote Mexican Grill Have some good ol' chips and salsa...it's #46 on 7x7's Big Eat SF 2010.
La Taqueria Squirt the green shit on every bite
Arizmendi Bakery Panaderia & Pizzeria One of the best slices in the city for only $2.50
Tahini Chicken sandwich is so good here as well falafel.
Prubechu Go for the chef's choice tasting menu but add from the ala carte menu so you can try the other dishes that might not be included. It might end up being a lot of food but it's worth the adventure!
Mr. Pollo Let the chef Manny make a tasting menu for you, everything is delicious.
Taqueria El Farolito 7x7's Big Eat 2012 says the super carne asada burrito is delicious. Yum!
Beretta If you like Bon Iver, pizza and hipster chicks, you've found a home.
Lucca Ravioli Company This windowless shop is the secret trove of mozzarella, pasta, pesto and spices that your imaginary Sicilian grandmother left for you in her will
El Techo Best rooftop drinking in the mission
Lolinda everything is amazing, but definitely don't miss the croquetas and the bone marrow.
Loló Weird weird decor, but don't be distracted. Delicious brunch menu with no wait (not sure how long this will last). Also the fresh horchata Pina Colada made me feel like I was on vacation.
El Gallo Giro (Taco Truck) What fucking idiot voted this place with just 6 of 9?
23rd, San Francisco CA — (415) 846-1802
Noe Valley Bakery Their crusty white loaf is hands-down the best bread available anywhere in SF...
Dynamo Donut & Coffee Munched on maple glazed bacon donuts. Delish!
The Spice Jar Lovely unpretentious neighborhood spot. I got the ground chicken miso ramen and thought it was A+
