This trail can be done any time of the year but during the rainy season (December through March) you might find some wet days and the terrain gets very sticky and muddy. Not recommended to ride in this season. One Way Only: This is designated as a directional trail.

Description

This is an ancient Inca trail that was made to go from Cajamarca to the coast. It goes through different types of terrain. At the top, it's more clay-ish and forest but as you get down, it turns to a dry and hot weather and terrain.

Lots of different types of obstacles, little climbs, exposure and locals moving through this trail with their animals. Be respectful with all of them.
