Description

There is a parking/staging area on Cottonwood Pass about 0.7 miles north of the start point.

The route begins with a steady climb on doubletrack. The route steepens quite a bit at the 2-mile point. It is suggested to take 8370 down after about 2.5 miles, otherwise the trail continues steeply upward to the south for some time.
