Family Friendly Easy, flat.

Overview

This out-and-back uses tight, twisty, hand-built singletrack that is nevertheless easy enough to ride for beginning riders and kids. It's still fun for more advanced riders, too, with options for loops and one-way travel with bail-out points.

Description

Tight, twisty, hand-built singletrack -- fairly smooth with few rocks/roots/obstacles and relatively flat. Expect some beautiful woods and scenery along the way. The Patsy Lake trail is a great place to introduce someone to mountain biking of the older-school variety, when the trails were hand-built and lacked bermed/manicured design.

For this ride, simply head north from the Wilson Lake TH on the Patsy Lake trail, staying to the right (east) until the junction with the Namakagon trail where you have the option to loop around the west side or turn back as it's mapped here.
