North Face fills with snow in the winter. One Way Only: This is designated as a directional trail.

Need to Know

Of the three ways down, Solar Coaster is easiest with the best flow. McKittrick Canyon was part of an expert cross county race and Park Meadow was the site of the downhill due to some ruts and rocks near the top. Otherwise, Park Meadow has a nice flow after the top. McKittrick has a more consistent grade from top to bottom.

Description

This trail starts with about 0.5 miles and 300 feet of climbing followed by 1200 feet of descent through the white fir and mountain mahogany of McKittrick Canyon (named after McKittrick Canyon in Texas).
