Family Friendly The Shavers Lake Adventure Park and beach are great attractions for the kids.

Check the website for updated lift and bike park hours of operation. A bike park pass is not required for Shavers Lake Trail, however a pass is required to ride the Ballhooter Chairlift.

Description

This trail follows the east bank of the Shavers Lake shoreline. It has numerous small gradient changes throughout the ride. Intermittent sections have spruce roots growing across the tread. Novice mountain bikers may want to hike-a-bike across the technical sections.

At the north end of the trail, you'll find the Shavers Lake Beach, The Boathouse, and Ballhooter Chairlift. This ride can be incorporated into a large cross country ride for the cardio enthusiasts, beginning at Cheat Mtn Ridge Trail to 6000 Steps to Shavers Lake Trail, climbing Shavers Lake Road to Powder Puff, which lands you back on the summit.
