Description

West Meadow Trail is an easier alternative to Chimney Rock Trail for those heading up to Elk Falls Overlook. As a climb, it provides smooth sailing through beautiful pine forests and alpine meadows. It also makes for a very fun descent. This can be linked to Chimney Rock Trail or Lion's Back Trail to make a nice loop up to the lookout and back.
