From the end of the Pear Orchard Trail #234C, turn right on the road with is part of the Latham Cemetery Trail. You'll go downhill and cross a small stream that crosses the road. After a short climb uphill, turn left at the intersection. You'll climb a short distance then look for the singletrack to the left of the road. There is signage at this point.

Turn left on the singletrack and enjoy the shaded descent through large hardwoods. The trail will then emerge into an open area with very young hardwoods and no canopy. After a couple hundred yards, the trail will curve to the left and cross a stream with a culvert. In wet weather this may be muddy and with horse traffic it may be difficult to ride.

Begin climbing a steady hill. The first short section is on a clay roadbed which may be slippery in wet weather. You'll then enter another singletrack section which climbs steadily. There will be a pine stand on your left as you climb steadily with a couple of quick, steep grunts. The trail will be level out at the top of the climb, then a fast, flowing, fun descent awaits. Caution as you enter the mountain laurel stand near the bottom - the sight lines are not good. After another quarter mile, the trail emerges on a gravel road - turn left.

The trail follows this road back to the intersection with Pear Orchard Trail #234C. Along the road, you'll pass the Edmonds homesite and the Latham Cemetery marker. The cemetery is actually about 50 yards down a side road and footpath. Across from the cemetery about 50 yards back in the woods is an old model A car chassis.
