Overview

This is my favorite ride. A good workout with great views and it doesn't take all day. Check out the profile ... long, gradual climb to the highest elevation in the system at the halfway point, then downhill most of the way back. It doesn't get any better than this. Easy to add some miles if you want by skipping Kristin's Cut and heading north to Paradise Valley.

Need to Know

It's the desert. It's hot in the summer. Not a lot of people around. Be prepared.

Description

Climb out for the first half with a downhill romp heading back. There are great views of the dunes to the west, hell, great views all around when you hit the midpoint which I call "Top of the World".

Turn left at every intersection except one near the beginning where Back Yard heads down into the valley on the doubletrack. The only other iffy point is after the highpoint where there's a bit of doubletrack then a sharp left.
