This featured ride covers the best riding in DFW, in my opinion.

Need to Know

Rockledge Park provides trail maps and has water and bathrooms for riders to use.

Description

There are multiple locations to start from, the most common being Murrell Park and the MADD shelter, which can all be found by Googling them on Google maps or look for the icons on the map above.

Overall, this is a nice ride in the woods and at times beside the lake. There are multiple descents with jumps and technical features, especially on the west side of the trail system. The majority of riders do the east side first and when they feel comfortable will do the west side.

There are sections of rock, sand, black dirt, multiple creek crossings, and tons of squirrels!
