Description

Teller County Road 62 is a four mile dirt road with access to Raspberry Mountain, the Crags, and Putney Gulch (RTP connector).

From Hwy 67, the road begins after two ranch houses. It gently climbs northeastward, then turns southeastward. After mile 1, for about 3/10 of a mile, the grade increases more than 10% for only a short segment. It then flattens out after it passes the Mennonite Camp and Road 621.

After 2.5 miles, on the eastern side is the Raspberry Mountain Trailhead, and a short connector from the Catamount Trail that is part of the Ring the Peak system.

At mile 2.8, the trailhead to the Crags is on the eastern side.

Near mile 4, the Putney Gulch (RTP connector) turns off to the west.
