Description

You can get to this trail from two different gates on the west side of Hurkey Creek Park Campsite. I recommend paying the day use ($5) and parking area near campsite #130. There's a restroom close by.

The trail goes up along HWY 74 for the most part, but the road is not visible. You can hear cars whizzing by sometimes. Just keep to your left and you'll find this trail easily.

It's a rocky, technical climb, so warm up before hitting it and be ready for an all-smiles descent. You're going to want a full suspension bike to get the most out of this trail. I did it with my hardtail the first time and managed to do it via the hike-a-bike method.

After getting my full-suspension bike... I shred this trail FUGLY now.

Keep going onto Recovery Trail to ride the Hurkey Creek Loop featured ride.
