Description

This trail provides an enjoyable climb up to El Valle. Be careful on the descent as it tends to get very rutted. This trail only has one river crossing. It is a 4x4 accessible trail.

There is a school about half way up in "El Macano", there is a junction just before it, but both roads reunite a couple kilometers ahead, basically just keep heading north.

Not much further up, there is a road that joins sharply to the left from Cariguana. This is another good option to get to El Valle, but you'll have to descend quite a bit to get to the other climb. Just stay on the main road and you'll reach the paved road to El Valle. It's a blast to ride at night and when it's raining, just wear eye protection, the sand gets everywhere!
