Description

This great route rides well in both directions. Although there are signs designating the route, the trail is relatively new and thus doesn't show up on the most recent Kingdom Trail Association maps as of August 2016. Someone at the Welcome Center recommended it to us (thanks!).

This trail provides an alternative to about half of the ride along Pinkham Road that was previously necessary to connect Parr's Yard and Magill Fields. Thus, it improves the riding along the north side of Burke Mountain and makes it feel slightly more continuous and remote.

The riding is more akin to many of the smoother, bermed trails on the Darling Hill side of Kingdom, and provides a refreshing opportunity to let loose and gather some speed (and air!) after completing some of the more technical, strenuous riding that characterizes some of the other trails in the vicinity (e.g. Dead Moose Alley, Moose Alley, Burnham Down, etc.)

Soon to be an area classic, I can't wait to get back and ride this one again.
