An exciting descent and a good climb that are just as good in either direction.

Description

Use this trail to connect the Big Dipper Trail to the River House Barn and the trails on the west side of Fig Ave.

When starting from Fig Ave / River House Barn, cross the stream and climb right up over the top of the "White Rock." Once at the top of the climb, you'll come out of the trees for a second and then drop back into the trees.

Enjoy the flowing trail and sweeping turns as you head back down to another creek crossing. After crossing the creek, climb up a bit and continue along the trail as it becomes a bit exposed before coming to an intersection with the Big Dipper Trail.

Most riders will end up riding this trail both ways as it is the main connection between the Dippers and the other trails at the Conservancy. It is just as fun the other way with a good climb and fun descent back down to the River House Barn.

This trail was completed in 2015 by Singletrack Trails Inc.

Shooting Star has a narrower track with steeper and deeper ravines than the other trails at Whiterock. Warning signs for cliff and challenging decent. 1.8mi — 0h 50m

The climbs ate me up. I had to walk most of the from the campground to the top of the bluff. Note that I am a clydesdale. like a super clydesda…
