Description

It is a moderately steep climb leaving Wagonhammer and there will be some short hike-a-bike sections unless you are really fit. The climb is a good workout. You'll be rewarded on the way back down, however.

The flora is primarily grass and sagebrush with scattered ponderosa pine and Douglas-fir trees. Watch your speed on the way down and be on the lookout for horsemen or hikers.
