This singletrack trail winds through the woods near Maple Lake and features an armored water crossing as well as a challenging root system that can be ridden around by the timid or attacked with gusto for the more skilled.
The northern end of Hickory Smoked joins with the southern end of the Maple Lake East. The southern end terminates at the third parking lot of the Maple Lake Boating Center on Wolf Road. The next nearest trail entrance is Bullwhip, which can be found in the next parking lot.
Moderately steep. Uneven terrain with small rocks or roots.
Sizable rocks & roots. Steep sections.
Steep. Some technical terrain and limited alternate lines.
