This trail was recently extended with fun and flowy singletrack that runs along the bank of Lake Townsend. After a third of a mile, look for the split to the left for the Kingfisher Tech Option, which many prefer to ride down, see Kingfisher Out-and-Back. This trail can be combined with Blue Heron on the other side of the road for an even longer ride. Parking is at the shared trailhead off Yanceyville Road.
