Description
Follow Shore Road until you see the parking area. It comes up very fast, so be on the lookout.
It ought to be right by the tiny bridge that allows you to see the ocean to your right and a tiny peninsula with grand houses.
This trail is actually approximately 3 miles long. It is a wonderfully beautiful trail that I would encourage anyone to experience. The ponds, wildlife, and forestry are protected, so there isn't any opportunity to fish or hunt, but there is a great deal of opportunity to enjoy! If you choose to make it to the metal bridge over one of the ponds, keep a sharp eye out for turtles!
This is one of the most beautiful trails I have biked. It is rooty and rocky sometimes, but overall it is very much worth the trip.
Moderately steep. Uneven terrain with small rocks or roots.
Sizable rocks & roots. Steep sections.
