“Mike Tygart is a great loop with a variety of terrain.
”
Riding counter-clockwise, begin at the Park Marina and ride along the shore of the lake for a good distance before climbing easily up a drainage. There is a short, steep climb guarding the ridge top where you can divert onto Claylick Loop or continue on the Michael Tygart Loop.
You can ride Clay Lick and return to this point for a nice long ride. From this point, you ride on the road for a bit and then pick the trail back up for the ridge run back to the road above the marina.
