The intersection of the Seven Summits Trail with the gravel Old Cascade Highway marks the beginning of the end of the Seven Summits ride. From here you can cruise back to Rossland by turning left (north) onto the Old Cascade Highway, but most will want to proceed across the road and descend Dewdney Trail, which is singletrack. It emerges onto B.C. Highway 22, a/k/a the Paterson-Trail Highway, south of Rossland.
Moderately steep. Uneven terrain with small rocks or roots.
Sizable rocks & roots. Steep sections.
Steep. Some technical terrain and limited alternate lines.
Very steep. Technical terrain with no alternate lines.
