Trail is open year round, but good luck biking it early November to mid May due to snow

Description

This trail is a connector between Slate Mountain Trail and West Fork. If you are doing the Slate Mountain/Gibson Jack loop clockwise you'll do a little climb before you begin flying down this trail. (You can go both ways but its a grunt up it.) When you get to the bottom, there is a creek and stumps have been put in it so that you can hike your bike across. It is a fairly steep embankment and usually really muddy, you have been warned if you want to bike through it.

Expect beautiful scenery (on par with Mink Creek area) and lots of wildlife, but you probably won't notice too much as you go screaming down this drainage.
